Alexander Lukashenko met with the heads of Constitutional Commission

Today, Alexander Lukashenko met with the leadership of the Constitutional Commission to evaluate the interim results of the team’s work. The head of state has repeatedly emphasized that the commission’s work should be as open as possible to people. Its participants were instructed to develop proposals to amend the basic law with the help of the population. The head of state thanked the citizens who are actively sending proposals for possible amendments to the Constitution. In total, the Constitutional Commission includes 36 people. They accumulate all proposals that are to be submitted to the president by August 1.
