Belarus and Russia can build relations the whole world will envy. This was stated by Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko during talks with the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry Sergei Lavrov, who arrived in Minsk the day before. The meeting with the head of state is an important point of the diplomat's three-day visit, which is dedicated to the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries. Alexander Lukashenko stressed: Belarus is committed to the values of the union and strongly supports the intensification of the allied dialogue. The sides aim to further strengthen bilateral contacts in all areas. Topical issues on the union and international agenda were discussed today at the Palace of Independence. Minsk and Moscow have similar positions. The topic of Lithuania's closure of the transit of goods to the Kaliningrad region of Russia was discussed as well. Belarus President stressed that Minsk and Moscow have enough resources to organize the delivery.
