Alexander Lukashenko defined objective for scientists

A big talk about science took place at the Palace of Independence. The President invited two and a half hundred scientists and experts to the conference. As Alexander Lukashenko noted, science is the foundation of statehood and an important driver of the domestic economy. The main objective for Belarusian scientists is the creation of breakthrough technologies and their successful implementation, the President said. During the event, the head of state presented state awards and diplomas to academicians and members of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus elected in December 2021.
