Two draft laws have been submitted for a meeting with the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, which provide amendment to the laws "On the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus" and "On normative legal acts". The head of state announced his requirements for the documents. As for the draft law on the Council of Ministers, the President expects more initiative and independence from the government. Back in August, he demanded that the structure of the Council of Ministers should not remain frozen. The draft law "On Normative Legal Acts" should develop constitutional norms. The head of state noted that bringing legislation in line with the updated Constitution is a very important topic for the country.
