Aleksandr Lukashenko visits Nesvizh District
The harvesting campaign, development of the region, salaries, implementation of investment projects are the topics that were discussed during the President's working trip to the Nesvizh District. The head of state was informed about the progress of the harvesting campaign in the region and in the country as a whole. Aleksandr Lukashenko noted that this year the grain harvest should amount to at least 9.5 million tons, including corn. The President also got acquainted with the work of the Nesvizh baby food plant and discussed the implementation of an investment project for the construction of this modern export-oriented enterprise. It is planned that the plant will process about 500 tons of milk per day.
The President inspected the course of the harvesting campaign in the Nesvizh region. Aleksandr Lukashenko visited the agricultural enterprise Novaya Zhizn. The head of state was briefed on the progress in the harvesting campaign in Minsk Region and the country as a whole. The president got familiar with the work of farm machines harvesting a winter wheat field where the yield reaches 100 cents per hectare. The President noted that this year’s harvest, including maize, should make up at least 9.5 million tonnes. The head of state also visited Nesvizh Baby Food Plant. It is a cutting-edge enterprise, all the processes are automated. 96% of the output is exported. The President tasted the line of natural milk products.
