Aleksandr Lukashenko taking part in Tajikistan summits
The capital city of Tajikistan is hosting the SCO and CSTO summits. The President of Belarus is taking part in these events. The session of the CSTO Collective Security Council began with protocol events. The negotiations were preceded by a traditional photographing ceremony. After that, the heads of states and CSTO Secretary General Stanislav Zas started negotiations in a narrow format. Foreign Minister of Belarus Vladimir Makei is also participating in them. The agenda of the meeting in a narrow format includes only one issue, but the heads of state will have to discuss a wide range of topics on international and regional security, and summarize the results of the organization's activities. Taking into account the situation in the world and along the borders of the CSTO member states, the format of face-to-face communication is of particular importance. It is planned that the heads of state will adopt the Declaration of the Collective Security Council and sign several documents related to peacekeeping, ensuring the activities of troops and equipping them with weapons.
