Aleksandr Lukashenko signed a law "On amendments to laws on state social insurance and pension provision"

Now payers of income tax have been given the right to pay additional contributions to the budget for pension insurance themselves. A differentiated procedure for payment of contributions is also established for individual entrepreneurs, depending on the income received. The law tightens liability measures for employers who pay salaries in envelopes. And for those who receive such salaries, social guarantees will decrease. The bodies of the Social Protection Fund of the Population are given the right to make independent decisions on debt collection from business entities in accordance with the procedure provided for by the legislation on enforcement proceedings.
