Aleksandr Lukashenko is on an official visit to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea. Air Force one headed for Pyongyang at midnight on 25 March. The visit will take place on 26 March at the invitation of the Chairman of the State Affairs of the DPRK, Kim Jong Un. The central event of the visit will be the talks between the leaders of the two countries. It is planned to discuss the full range of areas for the development of Belarusian-Korean relations, identify the main areas of mutual interest and the most promising projects for implementation. The upcoming visit is intended to strengthen the contractual and legal framework of relations and promote the intensification of bilateral cooperation.
