Aleksandr Lukashenko offers congratulations to Shavkat Mirziyoyev

Today, President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko spoke by telephone with President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev. The Belarusian head of state congratulated his Uzbek counterpart on his birthday. The Presidents also discussed the progress in the implementation of the agreements reached during the visit of the President of Belarus to Tashkent in February this year. As it was noted, effective work is underway in a number of areas. In January-May, mutual trade reached almost $245 million, with the growth rate of 105.3% compared to the same period last year. The parties continue cooperation, and have also started to implement a number of new joint projects.
