Aleksandr Lukashenko named Poland's closure of the border with Belarus an unfriendly political step against China
22.09.2025
The Head of State said this at a meeting with Li Xi, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee. "There have been a lot of insinuations in the media lately, especially in connection with your visit to Belarus, including about our relations with Poland and the closure of the border between Belarus and Poland. I understand that this is most likely an unfriendly step by the Poles — a political one, probably some kind of image, as the Poles believe, against the PRC. But it's not economic at all. Because an empire like China can easily handle this problem. But the topic is clear", the President said.
