Aleksandr Lukashenko makes new appointments

Today Belarus President approved the appointment of 12 heads of local executive and regulatory bodies. Politics and economy were high on the agenda during the conversation with the heads of local administration. The harvesting campaign is also a burning issue, as the country has to harvest at least 9 million tons of grain. The President wants the crops to be harvested thoroughly and on time. Today the head of state appointed Dmitry Korchik as director general of the Belarusian Steel Works Management Holding Company. Aleksandr Osmolovsky was appointed chairman of the board of the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange.
