Aleksandr Lukashenko: It is vital for Belarus and Russia to develop their Union relations
The President announced this at a meeting of the Supreme State Council of the Union State in Moscow. A. Lukashenko emphasized that the geopolitical situation objectively sets the task of being ready to respond to any challenges together. The President mentioned the beginning of the practical implementation of the agreement on security guarantees within the Union State, and the Oreshnik missile system was put on combat duty in Belarus in December. Belarus and Russia are working together in foreign policy. The signing of the directive on mutual support and cooperation in the field of international justice will be an important step towards protecting common interests and the inviolability of international law and its institutions, the Head of State noted.
