03.02.2026
Vitebsk Oblast needs a step-by-step anti-crisis plan. President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko said this at a meeting on certain issues of socio-economic development of the Vitebsk Oblast. The Head of State noted that at a meeting in Vitebsk 3 months ago, a circle of problems that had not been solved for years was firmly outlined. We also agreed that the regional leadership will take prompt measures to restore order before the New Year. The current conversation is the first checkpoint to assess the real situation and see if there is a positive effect. The governor should start with pain points and decision-making.
