By the end of the year, Belarus should have its own production of conventional ammunition. This was stated by President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko at a meeting on equipping the Armed Forces and developing the military-industrial complex. The President noted that, as experience in military operations has shown, the consumption of such ammunition is very high, and emphasized that the meeting is confidential due to the sensitive nature of the discussions.
