Aleksandr Lukashenko had a telephone conversation with the President of Iran

The conversation took place on the initiative of the Iranian side. Masoud Pezeshkian informed the Belarusian Head of State about the situation in the Persian Gulf region, as well as about the position of official Tehran in negotiations with the United States of America. The interlocutors stated that the main stumbling block for the development of peace agreements is the lack of trust. The President of Belarus stressed our country's interest in an early settlement of the conflict. In turn, the Iranian President thanked Aleksandr Lukashenko for his principled and consistent position.
