Aleksandr Lukashenko gives interview to Ukrainian journalist Dmitry Gordon

Minsk-Kyiv relations were touched upon as Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko gave an interview to well-known Ukrainian journalist Dmitry Gordon. The conversation was mostly devoted to political issues. Today the world is facing new challenges. In Belarus justice is the cornerstone of everything. This is the essence of its domestic and foreign policy, the Belarusian president said. The interview lasted about two and a half hours. It touched on the situation in the region, including the conflict in Ukraine, the development of Belarus, and the ongoing election campaign. The president spoke about Belarus’ pandemic response. According to Dmitry Gordon, he was interested in lively, eye-to-eye informal communication.
