Aleksandr Lukashenko: Belarus has dismantled the myth created by the West about the closed nature and isolation of the country
The President made the statement in his address to the Belarusian people and parliament. In accordance with the amended Constitution of Belarus, the annual Addresses of the Head of State will be delivered at the Belarusian People's Congress. The President's address was fundamental and touched upon virtually all the most pressing issues of both domestic and foreign policy. "Belarus has dismantled the myth created by the West about the closed nature and isolation of our country", the President stated. Belarus has become one of the top 50 destinations visited by tourists. Aleksandr Lukashenko noted that this year alone over 250.000 Europeans, who have come to Belarus thanks to the visa waiver, have personally made sure of the coziness and the beauty of Belarus.
