At the talks with the US delegation led by Special Envoy John Cole, President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko mentioned the topic of so-called political prisoners, which is also part of the agenda of the Belarusian-American negotiations. "I keep telling you that we don't have political articles and we don't have any political prisoners. There are offenders. But we discussed this problem in correspondence. I think that basically we have come to a certain opinion. And the Belarusian side is ready to follow our agreements with you. I don't think there will be any particular problems here. As well as on other issues on our agenda," Aleksandr Lukashenko added.
