Aleksandr Lukashenko and Ilham Aliyev hold talks
President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko met with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev at the palace of the Azerbaijani leader. According to the protocol, the talks were preceded by ceremonial events with the participation of an honor guard company and singing of the national anthems. Another obligatory tradition is the ceremony of photographing the two leaders. Only after that the heads of state left for the talks. Aleksandr Lukashenko and Ilham Aliyev held a one-on-one meeting. The leaders talked for about an hour and a half. Then members of the delegations joined them. The main focus of the talks was further development of trade and economic interaction, cooperation in industry and agriculture. A package of bilateral documents is expected to be signed as a result of the talks.
