Aleksander Lukashenko departed for an official visit to Myanmar

The Belarusian President's official visit to Myanmar will take place on 27 and 28 November. Negotiations are scheduled, first in a restricted format, and then in an expanded format. They will take place in the capital, Naypyidaw. The Belarusian Head of State and Acting President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar and Chairman of the National Security and Peace Commission Min Aung Hlaing will discuss promising areas of bilateral cooperation and the implementation of joint projects. Discussions will include developing cooperation in agriculture and food security, industry, and pharmaceuticals. The agenda also includes a substantial set of issues in humanitarian cooperation. The signing of a number of bilateral documents is planned following the talks.
