A. Lukashenko: Washington is increasing the degree of hostility of the NATO bloc in the Belarusian direction

The second day of the All-Belarusian People's Congress was devoted to the most important issues of strategic planning — the approval of the National Security Concept and Military Doctrine. These are fundamental documents that regulate the state's approaches to ensuring its own security and the use of military force in response to challenges and threats. Before the discussion began, the President presented his position on the issue under discussion. As the Head of State stated, the main real risk for Belarus is created by the hot spot in Ukraine. In his opinion, now is the most convenient situation for peace negotiations. However, Washington is doing everything to drag Belarus into the Ukrainian conflict. The President spoke about the build-up of NATO's offensive potential around Belarus.
