03.05.2021
The day before, the Head of State shared the joy of Easter with the believers. This year Alexander Lukashenko went to the Cathedral of Saints Cyril and Lawrence of Turov. The head of state donated to the temple a re-created relic – the Turov Cross. The relic was lost in the 13th century due to a powerful earthquake that destroyed the temple. Alexander Lukashenko stressed the symbolism of the fact that it is on this holiday that one of the most sacred relics of Belarus is returning home.
