A.Lukashenko to visit Turkmenistan on October 10-11
On October 10-11, the President of Belarus will pay a working visit to Turkmenistan. In Ashgabat, Aleksandr Lukashenko is going to take part in a meeting of the Council of CIS Heads of State. The summit's agenda includes issues on development of cooperation in this integration association, including the sphere of strategic economic cooperation, cooperation in law enforcement and military fields, and the fight against terrorism and extremism. CIS leaders are planning to issue an address to the peoples of the Commonwealth and the world community in connection with the 75th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War. Traditionally, on the sidelines of the summit, Aleksandr Lukashenko plans to hold a series of negotiations with his foreign colleagues to discuss bilateral cooperation.
