A. Lukashenko: The eyes of many states are turned to Beijing
The President of Belarus made this statement at the meeting with President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping. The working meeting of the leaders of the two countries took place at the Zhongnanhai residence. Then the Heads of State talked in the one-on-one format. Aleksandr Lukashenko and Xi Jinping emphasised that the current time is characterised by unprecedented pressure from the West. The President of Belarus noted that many states are convinced: China will endure and will not allow the world order to be broken. In turn, the President of China once again congratulated Aleksandr Lukashenko on his reelection as President and invited the Belarusian Head of State to the SCO summit and parade in Beijing, which will be held in three months' time.
