A.Lukashenko takes office as President of Belarus

Aleksandr Lukashenko took office as the President of Belarus. The inauguration ceremony took place at the Palace of Independence. About 700 people were invited to the event. According to the Constitution of the country, the President takes office after swearing an oath of allegiance to his people and homeland, putting his right hand on the Constitution. During the ceremony, the Head of State announced that he was taking office with pride for his people. The President stressed: everything will be done to preserve peace in Belarus. Our country, like any strong state, will always remain peaceful and friendly. And his home policy is socially oriented.
