A. Lukashenko: sanctions encourage Belarus and Cuba to jointly search for effective solutions
25.06.2025
In economic cooperation, countries do not have to start from scratch. Machinery, in particular tractors and trucks, has been known in Cuba since Soviet times. Belarus expects to develop cooperation. Cooperation in the field of food is seen as promising. So far, we are talking about the supply of powdered milk. However, there are proposals to create dairy production in Cuba using Belarusian technologies and raw materials. Another vector of cooperation is pharmaceuticals. Cuba is strong in its medicine. Belarus is interested in these competencies. Domestic companies are expanding the list of medicines that gain access to the Cuban market, thereby opening their way to a large region of Latin America.
