17.12.2021
The President presented awards to the families of the fallen pilots Andrei Nichiporchik and Nikita Kukonenko, as well as KGB officer Dmitry Fedosyuk. Each of them became an example of true service to their duty, people and country. Recall that in May in Baranovichi, the Yak-130 plane crashed. The team of pilots took the car away from residential buildings to the last to avoid casualties on the ground. They were posthumously awarded the honorary title "Hero of Belarus". And in September, during a special operation in a shootout, an employee of the Alpha special unit was killed. The tragedy shook the whole country. The officer's merits to the homeland were also noted at the highest level.
