At the meeting, Alexander Lukashenko congratulated his colleague on passing a serious stage of the electoral cycle – a single voting day that took place in Russia. But the main emphasis during the meeting was on common work in a variety of areas. Regarding integration cooperation, the President of Belarus noted that officials from both countries did a good job in carrying out the instructions of the heads of state. Russian President Vladimir Putin said that relations between the two countries are developing steadily and reliably.
