А. Lukashenko: People’s achievements shape Belarus’ history
Belarus President attended a ceremony to present state awards. The list included 45 awardees representing different professions. Among them were workers of the real sector of the economy, science, education, culture and sports. Their achievements shape the history of the country. Symbolically, the meeting took place in the run-up to the celebration of the main national holiday, Independence Day. “I am delighted to see here committed professionals, the people who develop the image of a strong, successful, and creative country,” Aleksandr Lukashenko said. Most of the awardees visited the Palace of Independence for the first time. Therefore, before the official part of the ceremony, a guided tour was held for the guests. They learned the history of the building, visited the main halls and took pictures.
