A. Lukashenko on a working visit to Kyrgyzstan
The President of Belarus arrived in the capital of Kyrgyzstan the day before to participate in the meeting of the heads of states of the Eurasian five. Alexander Lukashenko is expected to voice proposals on strategic directions for the development of the Eurasian Economic Union. They concern the further deepening of integration and the protection of economies. The President of Belarus has already stated that all members of the union need to unite and act as a united front. It is important to remove barriers in the EAEU internal market, change logistics and actively develop cooperation with third countries. The leaders of the five countries will discuss the current economic situation, as well as topical issues of integration in the Eurasian space. The presidents will sum up the outgoing year and exchange views on the prospects for the development of the EAEU. It is planned to adopt a number of documents aimed at strengthening the partnership.
