Kuban can become a key region for Belarus. The President met with the delegation of the Krasnodar Territory. As the head of state noted, Belarusians are now extremely actively working with Russian regions. The goal is to fulfill all obligations. Therefore, in Russia we need to rely on key centers. Taking into account geography, in the south, Kuban is one of them. Krasnodar region is a promising trading partner of Belarus. At the end of last year, trade turnover increased by 60% and amounted to $557 million. The President emphasized that our industry has technologies that can be very successfully applied in the neighboring country. Another promising point is cooperation in agriculture. Krasnodar region is the “breadbasket of Russia.” We have excellent results in breeding, training of professionals, and farming technology. The Black Sea coast and the Caucasus are also interesting from a tourism point of view. We also have something to offer and show.
