A.Lukashenko met with MPs of previous and new convocations
Political stability and well-coordinated work of all the branches of power are a key to the successful development of the country, Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko said as he addressed the new and outgoing MPs of the House of Representatives and member of the Council of the Republic. Speaking to the MPs of the seventh convocation, the head of state noted that a truly efficient representative and legislative body had been formed in Belarus. Aleksandr Lukashenko called upon the new parliament to become a center of progressive lawmaking, to secure the continuity of the political course, the sustainable development of the state, the dynamics of economic growth and the welfare of citizens. The head of state thanked the parliamentarians of the sixth convocation for their fruitful work and presented state awards to the best MPs.
