Belarus is ready to offer the Rostov Oblast goods and services on better terms than those offered by foreigners. This was stated by the President at a meeting with the Governor of the Russian Oblast. Aleksandr Lukashenko noted that the parties have great potential in mechanical engineering, industry and other fields of activity. Yury Slyusar arrived in Belarus for the first time as governor. Minsk has long-standing and strong ties with Rostov: last year, the trade turnover amounted to almost $800 mln. Products, tires, timber and building materials are being shipped from Belarus to the region. On the return route — metals, specific goods and much more. A wide dealer network of Belarusian enterprises is represented in the Rostov region: representative offices of MAZ, Gomselmash, and MTZ operate.
