A. Lukashenko meets with judges from foreign countries
Today President of the Republic of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko met with heads of higher courts of foreign states who arrived in Minsk on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Supreme Court of Belarus.
Aleksandr Lukashenko expressed confidence that this visit would contribute to further development of professional cooperation and suggested that the CIS partners should coordinate efforts to transform the judicial system. The President reminded that the countries have already made the right step in strengthening cooperation. At the initiative of the Supreme Court of Belarus, a Council of Chairmen of Supreme Courts of the CIS countries has been established. The President is sure that it will allow coordinating approaches in the field of justice.
