A.Lukashenko meets with head of CIS observation mission

The elections in Belarus were well-organized and passed in accordance with Belarus laws. The statement was made by the CIS observation mission. International observers summed up the results of the election campaign. Aleksandr Lukashenko met with head of the CIS observation mission Sergei Lebedev. The parties discussed the situation in the country after the closure of polling stations. According to Sergei Lebedev, the majority of Belarusians voted for peace and stability. The meeting also touched upon contacts within the CIS. Next year Belarus will preside the organization.
