A.Lukashenko meets with Governor of Russia’s Arkhangelsk region

Belarus remains greatly interested in direct contacts with Russian regions, Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko said as he met with Governor of Arkhangelsk region of Russia Igor Orlov. The construction sector is one of the areas where there are prospects for increasing interaction. Belarus is ready to take part in the renovation of the city. The White Sea region of Russia is interested in acquiring Belarusian equipment. By the way, for many years Arkhangelsk has been using Belarus-made BELAZ haul trucks in diamond mining. In 2019, the bilateral trade reached almost $50 million.
