A.Lukashenko meets with country's best educators

The education system is strategically important. With these words, the President began the meeting with the country's best educators. A thousand people from all over Belarus were invited to the BelExpo national exhibition center. A meeting in this format once again emphasizes the special role of teachers and the scientific elite. 2020 is a special year as it is completing the current five-year period, laying foundations for the future. One of the pressing issues is housing for freshly graduated professionals. In the next five-year period, the President promises one hundred percent students to be provided with residence. Salaries in education will also grow. Those of faculty staff will reach 150% of the national average.
