A. Lukashenko laid a capsule at the construction site of a city hospital in Grodno
In a solemn atmosphere, the Head of State signed the message to future generations, which was placed in a capsule. The President laid it in a memorial stone installed at the construction site of the city hospital in Grodno. In his message to descendants, the current period in the history of sovereign Belarus is characterized as interesting and difficult: "We live a peaceful and happy life — we are building our beloved, independent Belarus together. But our heart hurts. And we’re writing to you because the world around us is changing. We live in an era of scientific and technological progress unprecedented in comparison with past centuries, but billions are spent on weapons and regional conflicts". The text mentions an important date, which is celebrated in 2024, the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders.
