A.Lukashenko instructs to make decision on yeast factories taking into account national interests of Belarus

The state of affairs in the yeast industry was discussed at the level of the head of state. In particular, the meeting discussed the performance of the Slutsk Yeast Factory. The enterprise has received foreign investments and is able to increase its production capacity three times. Besides, there is the Minsk Yeast Factory with the affiliated company in Oshmyany. The domestic demand for pressed yeast is fully satisfied by local companies. Suggestions were made on optimizing the operation of the enterprises. Belarus President proposed to develop such a solution that would organize the effective work of the industry. The main thing, according to Alexander Lukashenko, is to take care of people.
