A. Lukashenko holds negotiations with Voronezh region governor
Reach $1 billion in trade with the Voronezh region, doubling current figures. Such task was set by the President of Belarus. Aleksandr Lukashenko held negotiations with the head of the Russian region. The Belarusian leader is convinced that the task is feasible for the allies. Minsk and Voronezh cooperate closely in various areas. The construction of the largest school in Russia in the region with the direct participation of Belarusians was sited as an example. Construction is a leading area in trade relations between Minsk and Voronezh. But the partners don’t stop there. The Russian region is developing dynamically and is investing a lot in the real sector. Belarusian technologies and competencies will help partners. Our country is ready to meet the growing demand for equipment in Russia. The President also considers cooperation in agriculture promising. The partners intend to develop cooperation in industry. In particular, there are agreements to create multimodal centers to service Belarusian equipment, and small assembly plants in the future. Another current topic is aircraft manufacturing. Voronezh is expanding the range of aircraft it produces and is relying on close cooperation with Belarusian enterprises.
