A. Lukashenko held a meeting with the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Belarus E. Baizhanov
Official Minsk and Astana understand each other well both politically and economically. At the end of last year, trade turnover between the countries amounted to more than a billion dollars. But this is not the final figure, taking into account the potential of the states, the Belarusian leader noted. Alexander Lukashenko expects a serious increase in trade turnover with Kazakhstan after Kassym-Jomart Tokayev's visit to Belarus. Erlan Baizhanov has been in Belarus as an ambassador since the end of August last year. The President thanked him for his work during a crucial period for our country. The delegation of the Central Election Commission of Kazakhstan worked in Belarus as international observers, its assessment was positive. Now the country presides over two collective organizations at once - the CSTO and the SCO. Shanghai Cooperation Organization is interesting for Belarus, as it strives for full membership.
