A. Lukashenko: From January 1, Belarus should have a clear system of price regulation
Pricing regulation is a matter of fairness, said the President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko at a meeting today. Government representatives, governors, heads of concerns and regulatory authorities were invited to the Palace of Independence. The main topic was the issues of pricing and price control. The head of state set a task: from January 1, Belarus should have a clear, understandable system of price regulation. Thanks to the measures already taken, inflation has decreased significantly this year. At the same time, skeptics previously argued that such measures could lead to a number of players leaving the market, but the situation is absolutely normal, stated Aleksandr Lukashenko. The President also drew attention to the issue of setting prices for vegetable products and urged the government to take measures to reduce prices for vegetables in the off-season.
