27.02.2020
Removing barriers, real economic integration and Belarusian-Russian relations – these were the issues discussed between Belarus President and Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) during their meeting in Minsk. During its chairmanship in EAEU Belarus will be promoting important initiatives, such as the securing of once declared freedoms for the movement of goods and services within the union. In May, 2020, Minsk is to host the Eurasian Economic Forum. The parties are planning to sign a strategy for economic integration until 2025. Alexander Lukashenko believes that Minsk should offer a serious option without any reservations.
