A.Lukashenko: Belarus Military Doctrine is purely defensive

Belarus President went on a working trip to Pukhovichi District where he inspected the 5th Special Operations Brigade in Maryina Gorka. The head of state met with the staff of the elite brigade. Special operations forces are one of the priorities for the development of a modern and mobile army, where ensuring the country's security has an important role to play. According to Aleksandr Lukashenko, the Military Doctrine of Belarus is purely defensive and takes into account the specifics of modern wars and conflicts. During the working trip the head of state also got acquainted with the construction of social infrastructure facilities in the region.
