A. Lukashenko and I. Aliyev visit revived territories of Azerbaijan
As part of his state visit to Azerbaijan, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko and President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev visited the revived territories of the country. In the morning Aleksandr Lukashenko flew to Fizuli. He was met by Ilham Aliyev at the airport. Fizuli International Airport is one of the seven airports of the country. It was started to be built in January 2021 and the first airplane landed here in September. Aleksandr Lukashenko familiarized himself with the new airport, and the heads of state headed for the city. The day before, Aleksandr Lukashenko and Ilham Aliyev held official talks, where one of the topics of the meeting was the post-war reconstruction of the territories. Earlier, in December last year at a meeting in St. Petersburg, the President of Azerbaijan accepted the proposal of Belarus to take part in the modernization and construction of infrastructure facilities in Karabakh.
