A.Lukashenko and A.Merkel discuss situation with refugees

The situation with refugees was discussed yesterday by Aleksandr Lukashenko and Angela Merkel. The conversation between the President of Belarus and the Acting Chancellor of Germany took place the night before and lasted about 50 minutes. The conversation touched upon the ways and prospects of solving the migration crisis in order to prevent an escalation of the situation at the border. One more important aspect, which the parties discussed in detail, was humanitarian assistance to refugees. Aleksandr Lukashenko and Angela Merkel agreed on further contacts to resolve the situation.
