А. Lukashenko sent congratulations on the 900th anniversary of Saviour and St. Euphrosyne Convent

Polotsk St. Euphrosyne Convent is rightfully the spiritual centre of Belarus, a place of attraction for all Christians. "People pray at the relics of the Monk Euphrosyne of Polotsk for healing and consolation, thank her for her help with love in their hearts", the message of greetings reads. Aleksandr Lukashenko noted that an important part of the original culture associated with the works of the Orthodox ascetic is sacredly preserved in the Belarusian land. "By completing the restoration of the monastery and recreating its pristine beauty, we have made an invaluable contribution to the preservation of the historical heritage. May faith in God strengthen the unity of the Belarusian people and multiply the achievements of the country", the President stressed.
