Aleksandr Lukashenko met with governors to discuss the main organisational aspects of the forthcoming election and, in particular, campaigning. The election campaign should not cause any difficulties from the legal and organisational point of view — this is the task set by the President. All candidates should hold meetings with the voters in a worthy manner. We have to prepare polling stations, create conditions for normal work of commissions and observers. Winter months are always a difficult time for the authorities. New Year holidays passed in the country calmly, without excesses. Security and order must also be ensured throughout the political campaign.
