А. Lukashenko meets with Governor of Astrakhan Oblast of Russia

The parties noted that the current trade turnover does not fully meet the interests of the partners. About $50 million was the result of the past year. At the start of 2025 — they managed to add it. But it is not enough. A. Lukashenko outlined the main directions of the forthcoming work. These are supplies of agricultural and passenger vehicles, equipment, foodstuffs. Belarus has started to actively use the possibilities of Astrakhan ports for transshipment of its cargoes in the eastern direction. The Governor of the Oblast emphasised that they are ready to increase the volumes.
