28.05.2025
Taking Brest Region Executive Committee Chairman P. Parkhomchik with his report, the Head of State said: "There is a lot of talk. Especially after the meeting with the Russian President, where he made a joke about potatoes. But this is a very serious issue for us. In what way? We know how to grow potatoes. We need to grow enough potatoes for us and Russia. We need to help our Russian brothers. And besides, it's not charity. It's decent money, decent prices," added A. Lukashenko. The President is confident that there will be demand for potatoes, including taking into account the negative impact of frosts on the crops in the neighboring countries. Similar instructions have been given with regard to other vegetables.
